The Comic community is WAY more than a village
As of 2023 there are over 390,000 children in foster care.
An average placement in the U.S. lasts between 9-12 months, but in many cases can go much longer.
As a community we spent over 2 BILLION dollars on Comic Books/Graphic Novels in 2022.
These kids are going through some of the roughest times in their young lives, lets come together and provide some heroes that will always be there for them.
Our Mission
Our mission is to ignite a love for reading, art and creative expression as well as encourage creative positive imaginative thinking in children affected by the child welfare system.
HOW DO WE DO THIS?
We collect and distribute comics, books, toys, art supplies, costumes and other items to local foster and adopted children. We use events that may include meet and greets with children’s favorite superheroes, artists, activities, DJs and more. All at no cost to the families.
We support these events through donations and fundraising on our ecommerce stores. Items that are deemed of value or inappropriate for donation are sold on these platforms. All profits go towards providing gifts and/or events.

All donated comics, books, toys that are deemed appropriate for children will be gifted in person or at events. Items that are deemed to be of significant value or inappropriate would be sold with all profits going to the donations/events costs.
