Almost 90 Days in….

As Fostered Comics quickly approaches the three month mark since our launch, we have seen a tremendous amount of support and assistance from new partnerships and contributors.

  With help from the local community we have collected a number of books, toys, and other items to provide to children in care. Our very successful Inaugural Suitcase Drive is wrapping up with the end of May and will be distributed throughout the local agencies, so that children coming into care can bring their belongings with dignity to their foster homes. 

Finally, with books beginning to circulate throughout both the comic and foster care communities, our Fostered Comics backing boards are now being found in more and more collections. Whether the books came from gift fundraising events, ecommerce sales, or even reseller streams, all collectors will know that at one point, said “book” went towards helping one or more of the many children we serve affected by the child welfare system.
